Stormy Acres is located in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan where world renowned hay is grown. Hay from the EUP of MI is shipped all over the country and has even been purchased by HRH the Queen of England for her horses. Cool, damp summers make the EUP ideal for growing hay. Stormy Acres is comprised of 300 acres of hayfields that grow a timothy grass mix with no alfalfa (this is better for a horse's metabolism). The hay at Stormy Acres is never chemically treated, either in the field or to preserve it. Custom baling is available.
